I’ve got a Garmin satnav just like this:

Kinja'd!!!

When travelling abroad I find it educational and occasionally entertaining to set it to talk to me in a hitherto unknown language (provided it’s a European one so I have some hope).

So far I’ve had Canadian French (in Iceland), Swedish (in France,) Norwegian, French French, Letzebuergisch, German and occasionally even English.

I read once about a guy who wanted to load the Russian version of the OS in his laptop, in order to get acquainted with the language. Obviously he was trying to learn Russian at the same time.
